Change in Executive leadership

We are delighted to introduce you to the new chapter of leadership at Generous.Life. Dwight Jacobsen is stepping in as our new CEO, which allows Jeff Smith to focus on cultivating vital relationships and strategic partnerships. Jeff and Dwight will serve the organization as Co-CEOs through the spring to ensure organizational success.

Jeff Smith, the visionary founder of Generous.Life, has been the driving force behind our remarkable journey since its inception in 2017. In his new strategic role on the board, Jeff will dedicate his energy to forming crucial partnerships, engaging with inspirational speakers, nurturing generous donors, and expanding our impact. Jeff’s wealth of experience and extensive network will play a pivotal role in supporting Generous.Life’s growth.

Furthermore, Jeff Smith’s entrepreneurial spirit continues to shine brightly as he embarks on a new adventure. He is launching a groundbreaking company called CHRP (www.chrp.ai). CHRP will leverage the power of AI, music science, and corporate wellness to enhance human well-being. This venture marks Jeff’s seventh company, where he continues to combine profit and purpose to advance the cause of human flourishing.

Change in board leadership

We are thrilled to introduce Jessica Lindsey as the new Chairperson of Generous.Life.

Jessica, a founding member of Generosity NY in 2017, has played an integral role on our board. After two years as Vice Chair, she has been unanimously voted in as the new Chairperson. Jessica’s extensive experience and unwavering dedication make her exceptionally well-equipped to lead our organization to new heights.

Jessica is a highly accomplished entrepreneur who co-founded and led Defenders Inc., a home security company, for an impressive 21 years. After its acquisition by ADT in 2020, she ventured into new businesses and established a multigenerational single-family office. Jessica attributes all her success to putting God first in all her endeavors. Her reputation for living a life of generosity extends far beyond the business world.

In addition to Jessica, we are excited to welcome John Stanley, Jr., who will take on the role of Vice Chair. John is the former VP of Sales at Tri-Dim Filter Corp., a company he helped to start and successfully led to an acquisition in 2018 by Mann Hummel. However, John would tell you that far greater than his business success is his fulfillment from a life of stewardship and generosity, shared with his beautiful family.

These changes symbolize our unwavering commitment to fostering a culture of radical generosity and empowering leaders like Dwight Jacobsen, Jessica Lindsey, and John Stanley Jr. to guide Generous.Life to even greater success.
